	Come enjoy the great outdoors and show some kids a great time with Trips For Kids. Trips For Kids provides bike riding trips for kids in the Carolinas and have the fundamental belief that cycling is an empowering sport that can help kids achieve breakthrough results in their lives. This program promotes personal achievement and self-empowerment to 10-15 year old kids from Charlotte’s fragile neighborhoods. The program is often used as a reward for kids from community organizations for good behavior and/or good grades. Kiwanis Uptown needs to provide chaperones to ride with the kids and assist with the event, at least 6 to 8 people. Don't worry if you don't have a bike, we can provide one if needed! Let us know when you sign up! The ride starts at 9am, but they ask chaperones to arrive at 8:30am for briefing. Lunch will be provided after the ride! This Trips For Kids will take place at Col. Beatty Park in Matthews (see link for directions). Please signup below to attend!
