Come enjoy the great outdoors and show some kids a great time with Trips For Kids.
Kiwanis Uptown needs to provide chaperones to ride with the kids and assist with the event, at least 6 to 8 people, more are welcome. It is encouraged to provide your own bike and helmet, but a bike and helmet can be provided if needed. CLICK HERE to signup and more information |

| · Cow Chip Bingo Fundraiser | |

Cow Chip Bingo is a joint fundraiser with the Mecklenburg Kiwanis club that benefits the Kiwanis Pediatric Cancer Fund.
It is a huge event and we need lots of volunteers to help and sell tickets. In addition to Cow Chip Bingo, there will be a petting zoo, a par 3 golf course and food! | · Annual School Tools Drive | |

Kiwanis Uptown is partnering with Classroom Central, Communities In Schools and WSOC-TV for the annual School Tools campaign. School Tools is a drive to collect new school supplies for students in the Charlotte region. We are collecting school supplies for the School Tools drive at our August 18th Project. When you support School Tools, you provide a child the basic tools needed for learning. Classroom Central has been providing students with the supplies they need to succeed. Last academic year, Classroom Central distributed over $4.48 million of school supplies to more than 90,000 students in150 schools in six school districts. |

A new Kiwanis Uptown online calendar has just launched! The new calendar has a grid style layout for each month with color coded categories for better planning and visualization of upcoming events. We will include more Kiwanis Events on the calendar including notable events in the Carolinas District, officer meetings and committee meetings in addition to club meetings and events. http://www.kiwanisuptown.org/webcalendar/ But wait, there is more… You can sync the Kiwanis Calendar with your Outlook, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo or many other calendars so you are always informed about all upcoming Kiwanis events.
